A study by the American Brown Alpert Medical School sees exactly in this the way to success.
Finding your sports routine
As part of the study, 375 people were interviewed who tried to lose weight through exercise. Amazing connections came to light: those who trained at the same time each day generally seemed to do a much more intense workout than those who did their exercises whenever they found time.
The timing had simply burned itself into the participants, they saw it as an integral part of their day. The moment for training is like a keyword, or like a train that we have to reach to get to work on time. The brain was already set up for sports.
When is the training best?
The time of day itself depends on the individual. Morning buffs will most likely have less fun with morning sports. “It is important to find out whether a certain time of day helps the individual better to develop a routine,” confirms study author Leah Schumacher.
