Do you prefer to run your lap at the same pace? That’s actually not the point of the matter. During endurance training, variety ensures that you burn more fat and calories. So always build in short sprints to keep your body on their toes.
2. You never run uphill
On the treadmill you never set a slope and in the park you make a big bow around any hills? Do it differently next time, because here again the motto applies: Diversity wins. After all, when climbing, the lower half of your body is more challenged and trained – ideal for a crisp bottom and tight thighs.
3. You don’t try yourself out
You run regularly, but always the same route? Then your muscles get used to the effort over time and the pounds stop tumbling. So to challenge your body, you should always offer it something new. Another program on the treadmill or another round through the forest – the main thing is a change.
4. You are on the road without a plan
You walk without an endpoint in mind? This may motivate you at first, but as soon as the aura of the new has vanished, it is increasingly difficult for you to get up from the couch. Therefore, set yourself a clear goal.
What that can be is up to you: Maybe you want to participate in a 10-kilometer run in a few months or within two months you want to finish five kilometers in a certain time. To challenge yourself and defeat the inner pig dog.
5. After the workout you eat too much
Are you always hungry after your cardio training and could you eat a complete 3-course menu? When eating after exercise, pay attention to balanced and high-protein snacks, drink plenty of water and wait until your meal fills you up. A visit to a fast food chain would be a hindrance here and would only give you more calories than you have burned.
